Purdue Tailgate Town to host Boilermaker fans

From 12:00PM to 8:00PM

All Boilermaker Fans are welcome to come to Purdue Tailgate Town at the corner of W. McCarty St. and S. Missouri St. (south side of Lucas Oil Stadium) to join in a day of Purdue spirit. The event will start at noon and close at 8:00 p.m. While all of the parking spaces are sold out, fans are still welcome to stroll through the lot and check out the impressive tailgate set-ups. Purdue Tailgate Town is just a five minute walk to the stadium. Food, beverages, and Purdue spirit items will be available for purchase from noon until game time. The All-American Marching Band will make an appearance at Tailgate Town from 5:30 p.m. until 6:15 p.m. At approximately 6:00 p.m., there will be a short Pep Rally near the Boilermaker Depot at the entrance to Tailgate Town. There is no charge to walk into Tailgate Town. There will also be prizes awarded throughout the day, and the Boilermaker Depot will be the central location for everything taking place at Purdue Tailgate Town. Spaghetti Dinner

Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department to hold annual spaghetti dinner BATTLE GROUND, Ind. — The Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department located in Battle Ground is gearing up for its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser. The event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 4 until 7 p.m. at the fire station located at 112 North Street in Battle Ground. The meal will be all-you-can-eat spaghetti. Adult meals are $8, Seniors $7, children ages 3-10 $5, and children under 3 eat for free. The Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department serves the Tippecanoe Township and the town of Battle Ground with all fire and medical emergencies. The department is made up of 38 volunteers who respond to an average of 600 calls per year. All money raised at this fundraiser will go toward gear, tools, truck repairs, training, and other necessary expenses.
