The Thrill of thrift Fashion Show will promote college and career readiness, allowing our students the chance to learn how to dress for success for less! Stepping On is a program that has been researched and proven to reduce falls in older people. It consists of a workshop that meets for two hours a week for seven weeks. Workshops are led by a health professional and a peer leader—someone who, just like you, is concerned about falls. In addition, local guest experts provide information on exercise, vision, safety and medications. Palliative Care: What Is It? What Do I Need to Know About It? At 1:00pm, the PEP Club of FUMC will host Dr. Thomas Jones, Dir. of Palliative Care at IU Health Arnett & Dr. Cecilia May, Dir. of Palliative Care at St. Elizabeth Hospital. They will discuss the concept of palliative care, the difference between palliative care & hospice care, what it is, why it’s important to patients, & why you & I would want to consider this care for our self or a loved one.
