St. James Lutheran Trunk or Treat

From 5:00PM to 7:00PM

You are invited to an evening of safe, family-friendly, fall FUN!! Children are encouraged to play games and trick or treat at decorated trunks. A costume parade will be held at 6 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume in each age group and for the best overall group. A light snack of hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Please join us for this FREE activity!! St. James is located at the corner of 9th and Cincinnati.

2014 Boo Bash and Family Movie Night

From 5:00PM to 7:30PM

Come and join the Public Schools Foundation of Tippecanoe County for some spooky fun at the Seventh Annual Boo Bash and Family Movie Night on Sunday, October 19th at Wea Creek Orchard. Doors open at 5 PM for pumpkin activities with Purdue Collegiate FFA, hayrides, pumpkin seed spitting contest and much more! At 7 PM they will present the classic, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. Costumes are encouraged! Prophetstown 5th Annual Trail of Scarecows

We Invite you to design and create Scarecrows promoting your community organization, club, activity, group, business or special event to be displayed along our paved bike trial. Prophetstown State Park welcomes thousands of visitors every year . . . • Do you want to share your mission? • Do you have a special event? • Do you make the tastiest __________? • Do you offer the best service and price? • Do you grow the biggest and best ______? • Do you have the area’s only ________? • Do you have the friendliest employees? • Do you want to have fun? . . . Get the word out with your Scarecrow and invite them to visit you too! The public will have a chance to vote for their favorite Scarecrows by “penny donations” supporting Prophetstown State Park Interpretive Services for Educational, Arts, Culture and History Programs. Prizes will be awarded for Scarecrows with the most penny votes. Encourage your customers, members and guests to visit Prophetstown State Park and vote for your Scarecrow! Entry forms must be received by September 30; Scarecrows must be installed by October 3. See attached brochure for entry form and rules, creative tips, and photos of 2013 Scarecrows. If you are unable to create a Scarecrow, please consider donating merchandise or gift certificates for contest prizes or gifting a monetary contribution for Interpretive Services programs.
